Report on Engineers’ Day Celebration at DPGITM

Engineers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 15th September at DPG Institute of Technology and Management (DPGITM) to commemorate the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya, one of the greatest engineers of India.

The program began with a floral tribute to Sir M. Visvesvaraya, followed by a welcome address by the faculty members. Various activities such as poster presentations, innovative ideas and debate competitions were organized, showcasing the creativity and innovative spirit of the students.

Students of B.tech highlighted the importance of engineering in nation-building and shared inspiring thoughts on the role of engineers in shaping society.

Respected Director sir appreciated the efforts of the students and faculty in making the celebration a success and motivated everyone to follow the ideals of Sir M. Visvesvaraya in their professional lives. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Registrar sir.

Seminar for ME, ECE, EE, CSE and Civil Engineering students with Mr. Ashcharya Bansal

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at DPGITM successfully organized a seminar for ME, ECE, EE, CSE and Civil Engineering students with Mr. Ashcharya Bansal, a renowned Thermal Engineering expert. He motivated students on the benefits of higher studies and shared valuable tips on preparing for competitive exams like GATE. Special thanks to the faculty member for coordinating the seminar.

Independence Day 2025 Celebration at DPGITM College

DPGITM proudly celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The event began with the flag hoisting ceremony by our esteemed chief guest, Major General (Retd.) Dr. Ranjit Singh, followed by the national anthem. Students showcased vibrant cultural performances, paying tribute to the sacrifices of our soldiers and the spirit of freedom. The celebration served as a reminder of our duty to uphold unity, democracy, and national pride.

Workshop On Financial Independence Through Investments

The Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities organized a workshop on “Financial Independence through Investments”. This guide to financial freedom through investing will demonstrate how the financial markets offer a potential way to meet these short, medium or long term goals.

Mini Refrigerator Made By Electrical Engineering Students

The Students of  Electrical Engineering  4th year has made mini Refrigerator in their final year project. Refrigerator is a common household appliance that is used to keep food, drinks and other items cool and fresh for a longer time by lowering their temperature. It works by removing heat from inside the fridge and releasing it outside , keeping the inside cold.

  3. 75L freezer compartment
  4. Filter/ Dryer
  5. Door Switch
  6. LED Light
  7. 5V Supply Module
  8. Wire cable (1 core/ multi-core)
  9. Door Handle
  10. Thermocol Sheets
  11. Sunboard sheets
  12. Screws and Glues
  13. Vent Grill and Metal Rod

    Construction of mini fridge

  1. Prepare the outer cabinet
  2. Install Thermal Insulation
  3. Install the 80 L Freezer Compartment
  4. Install Compressor and Condenser
  5. Install Electrical Components
  6. Make and Install the door
  7. Final Touches and Testing

Electric Car Made By Mechanical Engineering Students

A team of final year Mechanical Engineering student has successfully designed, fabricated, and tested an electric Car powered by Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries. The trial of the electric car has been successfully completed. The student team’s are now ready to showcase their project to the college on Tuesday.
